Tumble Squad

Tumbling is a highly spectacular sport requiring a combination of speed, rhythm, spatial awareness, coordination, power and strength. Tumblers perform on a 25m specialized tumbling strip and work combinations of round-offs, flicks, whips and various somersaults.

In competition the gymnasts perform tumbling passes of eight elements judged on their degree of difficulty - based on  single, double or triple somersaults in the tucked, piked or straight shape, with or without twists and their execution quality - speed, technique and height.

AGC Tumble squads are all invitational only. Our developmental structure guides children from the age of 5 through to adulthood through their national and international gymnastic career.

Years 1, 2 & 3

In additional to a weekly Recreational session we offer an invitational advanced session for children with the talent and desire to step onto the competitive pathway
